Dental Office Cleaning
OctoClean uses advanced cleaning protocols to help reduce disease transmission and cross-contamination. Our cleaning staff is intensely trained to deliver a dependable, high-quality cleaning program for dental and medical environments. At OctoClean, we are serious about infection control and provide thoroughly compliant cleaning knowledge, methods and products to support your medical outcomes. We understand that professional cleaning and proper surface disinfection are an essential part of your infection control plan. We will thoroughly clean your reception areas, waiting rooms, exam rooms, offices, conference rooms, therapy rooms and restrooms.
A dirty restroom that looks messy, smells bad and lacks necessary supplies will significantly reduce the impression you are making. Dirty bathrooms breed bacteria, which can lead to the spread of illness and infection. Using hospital-grade disinfectants and infection control techniques can keep dirt and germs under control.
OctoClean has earned a trusted reputation by providing top notch results. Our franchisees own their business and are dedicated to their trade. Each franchise owner is highly trained in the regulations within the healthcare industry to prevent the spread of Healthcare Acquired Infections (HAIs).
At OctoClean, we take great pride in what we do. We know that a professionally cleaned dental office has a direct impact on your reputation and patient impressions. When patients enter your facility, sit in the waiting room or use the restroom, they will quickly judge your competence as a healthcare provider. A clean environment helps patients feel more confident and relaxed.
Cross contamination occurs when harmful microorganisms, usually bacteria and viruses are spread between people, pieces of equipment, or within the body. There are plenty of opportunities for cross-contamination to occur. Most of these opportunities may be expected, but frequent handwashing and strict sterilization procedures can help stop the risks associated with cross contamination.
Cleaning should precede all disinfection and sterilization processes. Cleaning involves the removal of debris (organic or inorganic) from an instrument or device. If visible debris is not removed, it will interfere with microbial inactivation and can compromise the disinfection or sterilization process.
If a dental instrument is intended as single use, it should be used on one patient and then discarded properly. If a disposable item is intended for more than one use, it must be reprocessed under the same guidelines as those used for any other item and should be thoroughly sterilized between uses.
