The great thing about OctoClean is the ability to customize the service you need. Before you begin service, we meet with you to see what cleaning services you need at your facility. From there, we tweak and modify any services you need to add to your janitorial services program. Every facility has its own quirks. Make sure your building is getting the specific janitorial service it needs to stay in shape. “We don’t do that” is not part of our vocabulary. If you need it, we’ll provide it and at a price you can afford.
Be sure your facility is kept spotless throughout the day with a day porter. Avoid running out of toilet paper or having to clean up spills. Your day porter provides you with daily maintenance as needed.
Keeping the office refrigerator clean requires a little due diligence on the part of all office workers. Make sure employees wipe up spills immediately and clean the surfaces of the refrigerator with hot, soapy water regularly. Weekly (perhaps every Friday), throw out all perishable foods that have been in the refrigerator for too long. Scrub down the inside of the refrigerator (including shelves and drawers) using a clean sponge and warm soapy water. Rinse with clean water, then dry with paper towels or a clean cloth.
Fabric protection sprays do add some additional protection temporarily for natural fibers such as cotton and linen that have little natural resistance to stains but are far less effective for synthetics such as polyesters (including microfibers), olefins, nylons and acrylics.
When you set out to clean leather furniture, the first step is to vacuum away dust and loose debris from the piece. Next, wipe it down with a cotton or microfiber cloth. Clean any problem areas with a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water. Dry the furniture with a clean towel. Do not use a blow dryer for this purpose as it is likely to dehydrate the leather.
