Invest now and save money.

Investing in your floors saves you money in the long run. Participating in a floor care program, which is a program that has regularly scheduled floor cleaning visits that are specific to your needs, extends the longevity of your floor’s lifespan. Regularly scheduled floor cleaning by the same company ensures that your floor is being properly treated and protected from long-term damage. If a floor care program isn’t for you, we also have the option of scheduling individual floor care visits as necessary.

Our crews are well-trained and qualified.

OctoClean crews are required to pass floor care training before they are allowed to perform cleaning for customers. Our Franchise Development Managers work with crew members to ensure they understand floor care techniques and the chemistry behind the cleaning chemicals.

FAQs About Floor Care

How do you get black scuff marks off tiled floor?

While there are numerous ways to get scuff marks off of tile floor, the most effective way is to spray a little WD-40 onto a soft cloth or paper towel and rub the scuff mark gently. Wipe the area with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

What is the best way to clean high traffic tile floors?

First, you will want to sweep or vacuum the floors to remove any dust or debris before using any cleaning products. Damp-mop your tile floor at least once each week (more frequently for heavy traffic areas) to decrease wear and abrasion from grit and soil.

Can cleaning products for vinyl or tile floors be used on wood floors?

It is never recommended that you use vinyl or tile cleaning products on wood floors. In addition, you should never use self-polishing acrylic waxes on wood floors. These waxes cause wood to become slippery and dull. In this case, the floor must be sanded and refinished.
